Before teeing off, agree on a dollar amount for each chip (for example, $1, $5, or $10 per chip). Decide whether to play standard or with the blind pull option, where each player randomly draws 3–4 chips from the bag before the round starts.
Everyone begins with no chips or with their blind-draw chips if you’re using that variation.
Begin your round of golf and the first player to hit a shot that matches a chip's description takes that chip. Example: If you land in the sand, you get the Sand Chip.
Hold onto the chip until another player earns that same result, then pass it to them. Positive chips (red chips) are the reward & Negative chips are a penalty.
At the end of 9 or 18 holes, the player settles up. Those holding negative chips pay each other player the chip’s value, while those holding positive chips collect from each player.
